Amy Lou Adams (Vicenza, 20 August 1974) is an American actress and singer born in Italy.
Biography

Amy was born in Vicenza, Italy, daughter of American parents Kathryn and Richard Adams Hicken, who were in Italy to work. He studied at Douglas County High School and raised in the Mormon religion, although his family has left the church after his parents divorced when she was eleven.

While working in a famous restaurant / theater in Chanhassen, Minnesota, she was discovered by a movie producer. Shortly after, she had her first role in the comedy Drop Dead Gorgeous. Moved to Los Angeles, California, where she appeared in her second film, Cruel Intentions 2 (2000).
